Nursery Décor – Adding That Extra Splash of Color

The cold winter months are coming, and what better way to welcome the grey snowfall with a dash of vibrant color. The nursery or the playroom is one of the first places to start; exposure to bright stimulating colors have often been essential to a child’s cognitive development. For older kids on the other hand, well—there’s always a good reason to up the décor a bit.

Keep the sun shining all year round in the room with the Ferm Living Dotty Wall Smart Wallpaper. The wallpaper features a yellow pattern that repeats itself all around the room, giving it a nice cheery feel.  Ferm Living uses Wall Smart wallpaper, made of non-woven fleece. Apparently, it belongs to “a new generation of non-woven wallpaper” that makes hanging it up a lot more convenient than it used to be. All you have to do is paste it up the wall for brighter, more colorful room.

Another pretty piece of color to add to the nursery is the blue or mauve version of the Koko Company Wallpaper Pillow. The throw pillow measures about 20 inches all around, and serves as a great accent for nearly any kind of room décor. The pillow is especially attractive, and combines attractive patterns with soothing blues and mauves, mostly inspired by Indian designs. The Koko Company Wallpaper throw is made of child-friendly cotton, and sports mix prints and delicate embroidery on the surface. It doesn’t matter whether you need to add some color to the playroom, the nursery, the child’s bedroom (or maybe even the family living room), the pillow looks really good, and it feels comfortable too. For balance and consistency, consider getting more than one throw pillow to arrange on the bed or the sofa.
