Indoor and Outdoor Tents for Children

Whether you’re planning to take a couple of days off camping with the family, or are planning to hold a stake out in the livingroom or the backyard, a tent is an absolute must for both. Invest in a good tent that can hold its own both indoors and outdoors, providing endless hours of entertainment for you and your kids.

One really great looking tent is the Nido Children’s Nest Cave by Magis Furniture. The first thing you immediately notice about this kid’s tent is its creative design, depicting a friendly looking bee that your kids are sure to love. It features a yellow roof, topped by grey antennae to add to consistency. The base of the tent is built with grass-like patterns, and the underside of the roof is decorated with graffiti. If you have particularly young kids, the Nest Cave would be a great way to introduce them to the world of tents and camping.

Aside the effort that went into the design, the Nest Cave meets safety standards as well; it was made in Italy of rotational molded polyethylene, and is okay for use both indoors and outdoors.

Weighing a relatively light 13 lbs, the Lucy & Michael Play Tent is a play tent that stands five feet square and five feet tall when open, and six feet tall when closed. If the measurements are any indication, it was designed for indoor play instead of full-on camping trips, though you could also take it out to the backyard for an afternoon if the weather is good. The tent comes in a retro rodeo print with red, yellow and tan shades, though there are several patterns available from Lucy & Michael that you can choose from as well.
