My Urban Child is all about fun, funky modern design for your little ones.  We are expanding our horizons to satisfy all your design needs by adding two new more traditional nursery furniture lines.  Introducing Franklin & Ben and Million Dollar Baby Classic. 

In Franklin and Ben you will find details, details, details.  These details make the nursery furniture special and less big box cookie cutter looking.  And doesn't your special baby deserve a special nursery?  We love the double wide dresser.  It is available in rustic brown and crisp white.  This dresser provides tons of storage for all those precious little clothes to be put neatly away in.  It also has an optional changing tray to purchase to use as your changing station.  After the diaper years you can easily convert it back to a dresser for years more of use.

If classic lines are what you want look at Million Dollar Baby Classic.  Classic is even in the name!  Both of the crib styles offered on My Urban Child are convertible cribs that will take you from birth to teenager.  That is a lot of value for your money when you think of it like that.  We especially love the weathered grey finish.  This finish is made by a multistep hand finishing processing.  Achieving a high end designer finish without the designer price.

Knifty Kid's Table and Chairs

 

 

This table and chair set has rounded edges and strong material choices making this the perfect place to play with stuffed animals, draw a picture or even build a puzzle or two. The set is dyed with brilliantly-hued lead free dyes. The gloss finish is a low-VOC catalyzed varnish. The legs are steel, powder coated with an aluminum finish that contains an average 40% recycled content.

 

Knifty Desk 3

 

 

 

The Desk 3 by Knifty is large enough to let you work the way you want to, spread out with room to store files and all your stuff. It is available in six different veneer choices and finished with an extremely tough catalyzed varnish. The legs are custom made using tubular steel powder coated with an aluminum finish.  Each leg has a nickel plated leveler to keep your desk steady. The hanging box/file pod features a wood pencil drawer with a large file drawer for letter or legal size files below. Also, both drawers are suspended with steel ball bearing drawer slides.

This solid teak children's round table with four chairs is constructed of solid top quality teak. For a finished look it has been stained with a golden teak oil finish. The stain is applied directly to the finished wood with no chemical treatment. If left outdoors the wood will naturally age to a traditional unfinished teak patina look, or any commercial teak oil can be applied periodically to retain the finished stained teak look.
