When decorating your Baby Nursery or Kids Room your first thought
is probably about Cribs, Changers, Beds and Dressers. Of course the larger items are more important
and create the foundation for your child’s room. However, Decorative Pillows play an integral
part in showing your style as well as tying a room together. You can choose from a wide variety of colors
and patterns to match your existing bedding and paint. The more plain and solid colors display a
sense of class and simplicity, while playful animals and funny faces will make
your child smile, and we at My Urban Child believe that is most important!
As a parent you know that there is never enough time in the
day. You may also feel that you never

Let’s say the average child sleeps for eight hours a night
(wishful thinking at least!) That being
said, basic math tells you that your child spends a third of their day in
bed. If this is the case, don’t you want
them to be safe and comfortable for this large amount of time? My Urban Child is pleased to offer many Kids Beds options from top designers like Nurseryworks, Oeuf, Spot on Square and
TrueModern. Whatever you need, a Twin
Bed, a Full Bed or even a bunk Bed you will find it here!
The Sparrow Twin Bed gives your child more room to play and jump
around, as well as more than enough space to snuggle up with mom for a bedtime
story. This Oeuf twin bed comes in neutral shades and a contemporary design
that goes well with your existing home decor. It was built to last your child
well beyond the early growing years. On the plus side, you can even add the
optional Sparrow Trundle Bed and mattress to help you maximize the extra space
under the twin bed. Whether it is for a sleepover or some extra storage space,
this hide-away is both useful and efficient.
The Uptown Twin Bed is a modern bed with a classical twist that is
perfect for your toddler and for your home.
Nurseryworks created the Uptown collection with a modern twist and
playful sophisticated colors in mind. This modern bed takes inspiration from
the architecture and furniture design of 15th century Britain. It is available in two color lacquer
combinations, cream with black molding and black with cream molding. The bed is enhanced with high contrast
reveals and accessorized with over-scaled brass hardware. There is a matching
crib and changer/dresser so you can get this collection started early when your
toddler is still a baby!
