Sit on this! New ideas for your little one to sit on.

Looking for something new for your baby or toddler to play on while you try to get something done around the house?  My Urban Child has some great suggestions.  We love the Magis Dodo Modern Rocker.  Great to sit on and rock back and forth.  There are so many fun ways to play with this rocker.  You only need one, but a we like the look of a whole flock.

Combi has redesigned it's entertainers for 2014.  They have the classic car look in a multitude of colors and this one features above which is the Combi Adventure Mobile Entertainer.  We love the bright colors, striped seat and ready for action handles.

Sleeping Options for Baby

Are you looking for something different than a traditional crib for your baby.  When your baby is small it is great to have options.  One of our favorite alternatives to a crib is the Hushamock Sleeping Hammock.

The Hushamock Sleeping Hammock is made of organic cotton and comes complete with a mattress and two fitted sheets.  It really could not be easier!  There are two different options for the stand to hang the baby hammock from.  The Okoa stand is made from beautiful Euporean Beechwood.  The other alternative is the Dream stand which is made from light aluminum for easy portability. Airflow Classic Pedal Cars

With the holidays quickly approaching, we have the perfect gift for your toddlers.  The Airflow classic pedal cars will provide kids with hours of fun while they get out and get a little exercise too.  The pedal cars are recommended for kids 2-5 and they are made of steel to last all those years and many more.  They look like a car or plane from the 30's-50's and built like they were back then with craftsmanship and quality.

Airflow Collectibles offers classic pedal cars and planes in many different models. For the girls there is a Pink Princess Pedal Car.  A little girl has got to love pink and will love having her own classic car to drive around.

Our favorite pedal car for both boys  and girls is the Brum pedal car. It is based on the English cartoon character, but we love it for the bright colors, headlights that look like eyes and fun horn.

Not Your Mother's Glider

The glider is an essential piece for a nursery to have.  All those precious cuddle moments that will be spent there feeding, snuggling and rocking you baby.  I can not help but smile when I think back to mine time in the glider of my children's nurseries.  Gone are the days of having a big ugly glider that you use for the baby's first years and then quickly trash when they get older.  The stylish modern nursery now has options stylish modern gliders to choose from.

Another favorite glider of mine is the Empire Rocker from Nursery Works.  This is a rocker you will move to the living room when you are done with it in the nursery.  Classic and modern at the same time.  The clean feel comes from the two color options of slate and ecru.  The details make this rocker extra special.
